I'm starting this new post for the love of my friend Rozhette Mendoza (thet, thetie, thetskie)! LOVE U THET!!!

Thet is my ever kuliiiiiit friend but I don't get intimated with that : )

In fact, I'm so blessed to have her. She updates me with Barbie's whereabouts. Now that I'm a 'bit educated with our doll, all I can say is --- THANK YOU SO MUCH THET!!!! (pasigaw yan ha :P )

1st time to perform

I had the chance to perform in a concert here in Cebu.

I could hardly believe that I was able to get my self a Parker guitar.

Yes, you read that right. I know that it is expensive too.

This is why I grieve so much after I found out that a person destryoed it.

Five minutes before the show started...

I rushed towards the restroom and asked my friends what happened to my guitar.

I needed it by that time for the performance.

Disappointed while hearing them say the real story, I suddenly heard the music play.

...the song "HIGH".

I ran back.

The show started and I missed the first line of the song but just in time to hit the 2nd line.

Everyone in the band looked at me, as if wondering where I had been.

WHEW!

Finally, I made it!

My first performance.

After that, I saw Ate Bie (Barbie Almalbis).

Tears rolled down my cheeks as I approached her.

"What happened to you?

Why were you late?

I heard nasira daw yung gitara mo", Ate Bie said.

She gave me hug.

I felt comfort then but I continued crying.

She hugged me soooooo tight and I did the same.

It gave me a relief.

Then, I left and promised to come back.

I saw ate Kitch (Kitchie Nadal) while I went to the backstage.

She was holding her guitar and said,

"Oh Jen, sabi ni Bie, nasira daw yung gitara mo".

I cried a river again.

She gave me a pat on the shoulder.

"It's okey Jen, don't worry too much", she said.

I knew I needed a hug then.

I looked at the other side of the stage and I saw Ate Bie.

I ran towards her.

She gave me a HUG.

...also hugged my pillow

Upon hearing that line, it made me shiver...shudder...SCREAM!!WOW!
The next thing i did, i find the need to sneak a look..."KITCHIE!!!!!" ooppsss i can't control it.
Pardon me, this is the first time. yeah!

the meal did not look good. My attention was stolen by that angel on the stage, trying to ge the right volume of the amp. To everyone, i looked funny. I was shaking while finishing my burger and fries. I had a hard time at that. WHEW!

The ever darling doll appeared before my eyes :) hahaha!
I met her almost a year ago.. (September 30, 2005)
There's was no spark then...
I just kept on observing her and BANG!!!! the next thing I knew...
During the 19th Philippine Advertising Congress, I was a student volunteer. The more I loved to be part of it aside from the perks is because it has been said that KITCHIE (reliever: BARBIE) will be performing during the ARAW AWARDS :)
Then the last day of the congress came...
I just got a word from my colister that Kitchie will be playing at the MTV gig at SM while BARBIE will be her reliever :) GREAT!!!!! I got even more excited :)

Good thing our "boss" allowed us to witness the ARAW AWARDS since it was ticketed and some of the students were not allowed to get in. She might have seen the excitement in our eyes that any moment, we will explode...oopppsss i think I've said too much on this..<------ OT huh!

Back..

what an angelic face!!!!!!!! the warm smile!!! there's no creature in this world that could match with the descriptions above ...and here's more --- KULIT (no doubt about this), nice and friendly (geeee awesome), Barbiegizer (nyahaha!!! ever energetic, ACTIVE..) whaaaaaa!!!! KIAT jud sya doh!! PRAMIS!

it was also the first time that i saw her play the piano while singing FIREWOMAN...the moment she strikes her guitar I scream inside...I perfectly heared the melody it made...she is undeniably talented (proof: she writes her songs and she's the lead guitarist of her band plus, she's the main act)..oh! how could i ever forget that moment when i attentively listen to her song DAHILAN..i loved it ever since then..next song: SORRY song! Oh GOD!! i suddenly felt my heart beat abnormaly..and found myself guilty..THAT SONG MADE MY NIGHT! I cried! yes! so odd yet i cared less about myself that night...I discovered the meaning why i was in Manila that time.

God is truly AMAZING! I found the purpose. It unfolded right before my eyes...i thought i was just there to enjoy and UNWIND, and yes i did, but aside from that, i was there to be FOUND! I wasn't able to catch the complete lyrics of that song but the message was CLEAR!

After Ate Bie's performance, we went outside the venue (into the lobby), hoping to see her. She never passed by but I get to meet her bandmates instead. Chit chats are always helpful to get rid of boredom. After 15 minutes or more, I heard Kitchie's song FIRE. We rushed inside...we were kinda late coz she started singing LOVE KO 'TO. I was chillin on my seat. I could not perfectly explain what was going on with me. I nearly had a heart attack (OA).
